CSCSA Inc Grooming Seminar May 2026 Recap

🐾 Cocker Spaniel Funday & Grooming Seminar 🐾

David Roche Park, Cromwell Rd, Kilburn | Presenter: Libby Craven

Sunday May 3rd 2026

We had a fantastic turnout for our Cocker Spaniel Funday and Grooming Seminar, with a really engaging and informative session led by the lovely Libby, who shared so much valuable knowledge with our community.

The day ran smoothly, and all the dogs were incredibly well behaved… right up until they spotted Group 5 in the off-leash area and had a few things to say about it, very on brand for Cockers!

Congratulations to Shaun Quinlan for taking out the raffle hamper.

A big thank you to Libby, Peter, myself, and all of our club helpers who made the day happen, along with everyone who donated items to support the event.

We’re also really pleased with the funds raised, which will go straight back into the club to support more activities in the future, including smaller, hands-on sessions with Libby.

Thanks again to everyone who came along and supported the day.

A photo recap and thank-you message from Libby are below.

Message from Libby

Thank you to the club and committee for allowing me to be involved in such a successful afternoon. It was a blast and I couldn’t have had better dogs on the day, so quiet and well behaved. I also can’t thankyou enough for allowing me to present with Bean, Rockett, Mishelle. These kids were so beautiful and scrumptious, I appreciate you guys prepping the dogs for the day, they were so clean and smelt Devine.

Although I went over my allocated time, I do hope everyone got the information they needed or some reassurance on what they already do.

I appreciate Peter & Adam’s hard work in organising this event for the club. Your efforts havnt gone unnoticed and working to get something happening I enjoyed very much to help even if it was a little. I hope it was great timing for the big dance coming up in a few weeks to get some extra items for that event also. I do hope to see many of you there.

I appreciate you all listening to what I know about taking care of this lovely and often misunderstood coat. I really enjoyed answering all the questions people had for me. I hope the vouchers given out from Mouse Hole Grooming Scissors and Callsharpening Clipper Sharpening will come in handy for some new tools.

I can’t wait to do more seminars for the club in future.

It was great to be in company of like minded people.

Until next time,

Libby Craven
